The first trailer of the sixth Harry Potter movie - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out TODAY. I can't wait to see the movie.

RIP Randy Pausch

I just saw this video. Randy is truly an inspiration. He discovered that he had cancer and had only 3~6 months to live. He gave this "last lecture" in September of 2007, and actually lived longer than his doctors anticipated afterwards. He passed away last Friday.

Remember: the brick walls in our lives are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things.

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.

There IS a GOD!

Remember I was just whining last weekend that I had so much work to do (see 3 posts down), and that I'd better get a BIG FAT BONUS check at the end of this year? Well, I am not sure if there is indeed a God, or if my boss read my blog, but my whining prayer was answered today. I got a nice little bonus check today for being the only Asian boy in the office that eats all kinds of stinky food working so hard and doing a good job in the past few months. I was so surprised and happy! Totally didn't see that coming. I think they should do it more often because it really lifts my spirits up and encourages me to kill myself at work.

I don't know about yours, but I like how my week started.

What Gets You Off?

I was chatting with a stranger earlier today, and apparently he liked feet. I know a lot of people have foot fetish, just like a lot of people like golden shower, sex with animals, sex with objects, etc. And I am NOT here to judge. We are all free to have our own fetishes as long as they don't cause any harm to other people (and in some cases, animals). Here's our chat log:

Like I said, we are all free to have our own fetishes. I am not into feet. Although if you are into feet, I'd love to hear why. What is it about feet that attracts you? As for me, I am ALL ABOUT KIDNEYS. Gosh guys with cute kidneys just turn me on and get me so hooooot. Ha Ha Ha! So what's your secret fetish? What gets you off????

Gummy What?

Allow me to say that I LOVE gummy bears. I like the soft chewy texture and the fruity flavors. I love the gummy bears they sell at Target. They taste the best to me. I especially like the watermelon flavor. Last weekend I got a pack from Target and left it in my car for a day or so. I guess you aren't supposed to do that. All of them got melted together. Look at my poor gummy bears... no gummy bears for me.... (tears)

I hate saying this but now it seems like every week I come here, and I write "oh what a week. I was so busy". But it's true! I guess alternatively I could say that I FREAKING BETTER GET A NICE BIG FAT BONUS THIS YEAR.

The stock market is so bad lately. I remember that up until October of last year (peak of stock market), everything seemed fine. I knew the housing and mortgage problem was slowly growing, but you didn't really hear about it. It seemed like everyone was downplaying the problem to keep the bubble becoming bigger and bigger. Then everything just dropped, and kept dropping, like falling knives that you can't catch. And now IndyMc collapsed yesterday. One out of the 19 billion in deposits was not covered by FDIC guarantees, so people who bank there can lose up to 1 billion dollars. This teaches you all rich people NOT to keep all of your money in one bank, but to keep only up to $100,000 in each bank so all of it is FDIC insured. I know I don't have this problem now but hopefully some day I will. Which bank will be next?

I really want to see two movies that are coming out on 7/18. The first one is The Dark Knight. Christian Bale is hot. The movie is filled with action. And it's the last movie Heath Ledger did. The second movie is Mamma Mia!

I saw the musical at Mandalay Bay a couple years ago and loved it. I love the music. When I first found out that they were going to make a movie of it, I didn't want to see it because I thought it would be corny, but then I found out that Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan are in it - two of my favorite actors. Most importantly, Sky is played by the hot Dominic Cooper:

Sunday Brunch - Hunter Parrish

Hunter Parrish, born on May 13, 1987, is an American actor, most famous for his role as Silas Botwin in Showtime's comedy television series, Weeds. He's also appeared in several TV series and Hollywood films Sleepover and RV.

The series Weeds started in 2005, when Hunter was only 18 years old. He played a high school kid of a widowed mother, who became a marijuana dealer to get by. Personally it is one of my favorite TV shows. By the way, most of the exterior scenes in Weeds are shot in a neighborhood close to where I live. I am tempted to go visit Hunter sometimes. :P

Season 4 of Weeds began recently with Hunter, now 21, appearing shirtless on the show. Gosh they grow up fast on ya, don't they? Look at what a hunk he's turned into!!
